My professional career is built on a BSc Honours Degree (with distinction) with specialization in Computer Science. I obtained that qualification in 2003 from the University of Pretoria in South Africa.
My experience spans from a stint in security, to serving time in the telecommunications and financial industries. I am fluent in C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, HTML and CSS. Code crunching at some of the country's biggest corporations culminated in co-founding Teamgeek in 2010.
I believe that the best way to solve a problem (or determine whether a problem exists in the first place) is to put yourself in your customer’s shoes. By experiencing your end user’s pain points first-hand you are much more likely to come up with a solution they will adopt. Getting to create digital products that add value to customers, and ultimately improve lives, is what drives me to do what I do.
